Centercode Beta Test Opportunities – Thanks Patti

Posted by James  Published in Articles

Beta Testing Opportunity

The following opportunity is available.

Laptops have evolved tremendously over the years. From bulky and big to tiny and powerful, the industry continues to evolve. Centercode is searching for candidates who are focused portability and convenience in their laptop design.

We are looking for people who value portability above other aspects of laptop performance. Students, people looking for a simple portable solution or focused on an easy but functional solution. Good candidates are people who want connectivity everywhere so they can blog, chat, email or simply surf while out and about.  These people are looking for a solution that is simple and to the point.

Please make sure that your contact information is correct, your Centercode profile is complete and that your spam filter will not block Centercode e-mail messages. We will notify you via e-mail if you are selected and you may miss out on the opportunity if the messages are blocked. Apply at your earliest convenience as demand for this product test is expected to be high!

Required Qualifications
Windows or Ubuntu Linux users
Willing to use the product for the majority of your computing time for the entire beta test
Optional Qualifications
Users with an 802.11b or g wireless network at home
Incentives
Centercode testers get the opportunity to see new products before anyone else; help improve the quality of a product; learn from the experience; and meet like minded people in this area of interest.
In addition to these benefits, our top performers (really active and engaged participants) have a chance to earn sample products, gift certificates or other great items. Engaged testers also get priority selection on future projects.

Interesting emails i’ve collected over the past year

Posted by James  Published in Articles

Let me just say that when people over exaggerate, their credibility goes right out the window.

———-

The stuff you offer for "free" needs a participation requirement. That's not free.
That's spending more on the requirement than the item is worth. And how many people
who enter to win trips really win? No one here, that's for sure. Nothing is free.
If it were, the sponsors would just give the item to me without me having to
participate with sponsors. A real rip-off.
----------

"I have been receiving your emails for quite some time now. I have
looked it over several different times, and I have to say that you need
to rename this site. I have never ever came across anything that is
free. I only see lists, and lists, and lists. Although I enjoy entering"
contests, your site has left me a bit disappointed. Goodbye!!!
Norma Jean

H James, thought I woud write before i disconect. James is someone else running this site. Is not the sam any more. I know a lot of people who have stoped  going. it seems to me that all there is ,is contest not really a freeby site. used to have a lot of nice things on here. I hope that the site changes back or you return if you are gone..thanks , we miss you….
LindaDave.

All the links in your newsletter go through them (aweber.com) so they are making money
off your subscribers. You asked why I was unsubscribing and I told you. So you use
that to send an asshole smart ass answer. Well fuck you! I will be posting your smart
ass comments to freebie message boards.
He is angry because all of the links say aweber.com in the newsletter, so therefore,
he thinks aweber pays me, which I explained that they dont...its the other way around.
I pay them to send newsletters.
----------

It isnt ''JUSTFREESTUFF'' Daily,,, when you have to pay for S/H or complete sponser
offer's! So when you do start sending e-mails for truly free stuff then you can
resume sending me your e-mails again! Just free stuff '' should be just that and
nothing else! I really think that it is false advertisment to offer just free
stuff then in the end ask for money or to make me complete sponcer offer's in
order to get the free stuff! DONT YOU?
----------

Hi, James...
I'm a homebound, disabled, individual with loads of time on my
hands! I'm busy working on a new website which will indicate scam
offers, sweepstakes, and the like (including the web sites which
redirect you to them). You've just been added to my list (keep 'em
coming to see how many disapproval stars your site will rate in
the near future!
Best regards, Mic Hudson

----------

Since you started all the "cute" videos in the blog the freebies have
deteriorated. Trish and others offer better freebies now, where as you used to
have excellent ones and usually had them first. Good bye JFS.

BYE! And by the way, I just LOVE Trish. Shes one of my best buds on here.
Go visit her site!!! ( http://www.momanddads.com )
----------

And finally............
I posted a dancing walrus video. It was cute, whatever...and I posted that my 14
year old daughter didn't care for it. No big deal.
Then I got this email....

In regards to :   *** The Dancing Walrus ***

AND...............................You daughter is how old???

Does she realize the time that the trainer put in to teach this walrus these
moves?

No offense, man, but Sounds like pops needs to sit down with his daughter &
teach her the ways of the world. & while you're at it, tell her this: Yeah
right, girlie, when you are a teenager, you'll look just like that walrus:
making the moves, doing the same thing that the "leader" of your pack does.
Teach her about the "pack" mentality the kids these days seem to thrive on,
let alone peer pressure to conform to other's standards & doings.

Those 8 kids in FL: all spoiled brats, their parents let them do what they
wanted, when they wanted, from when they were little & on up, & have NO CLUE
about reality & the real world. Must have not been taught a d*** thing. No
funtioning gray matter in any of those 8 heads. They have No Clue about
closed head injuries or permanent hearing loss. Back in the '70 when I was
those kids' age, we never even dreamed of purposely luring a girl to a house
to beat her up for trash talking another kid. I don't even want to think
what the world is going to be like in 20-30 years, with people like this in
the world, let alone Autism in so prevalent. My terminology: a dummy
society.
----------

Ok, all done!

So here's my point. Susie posted constructive ctiticism, which I have absolutely
no problem with. After all, she was just making a comment on how she felt.
But some of the ones above...wow!
And that's all I have to say about that =)

Prayer Circle for Debby…

Posted by emichelle1113  Published in Articles

I know everyone has already read James’ request for prayers for Debby, but I would like to reiterate here.  Strokes come out of nowhere, and happen in an instant.  And, it can happen to ANYONE!  Time lost is brain lost during a stroke.  Debby was one of the luckier stroke victims (although she may not feel very lucky right now).  She happened to be in her doctor’s office when it happened, and got the urgent help she needed quickly.  Had she not received medical help as quickly as she did, she may not have been on the road to recovery now.  I urge everyone to educate themselves about strokes.  And, I urge everyone to pray for Debby.

GET WELL SOON, DEBBY!!!
