Is it THAT time again? The State Fair is over. The kids are back to school. As strange as this summer was weather wise it sure is sad to see it go. And was it just me or did it go by THISFAST? Fish were caught. Skin was kissed by the sun (or possibly burned). Gardens were planted (nothing grew but way too many tomatoes). Flowers bloomed. Dont get me wrong I love Fall. Its my favorite Season but I’m still sad to see Summer go. Yes, I know, its not official until the 21st but it feels already gone.

Viruses and malware are becoming more of a problem each year. The infections are becoming more volatile all of the time with advanced screen capture and key logging techniques. Many of these attacks are aimed at collecting your personal data including banking and credit card information.
Our client has created an innovative software that approaches the problem from a different perspective which is designed to be less prone to new malware strains. If you are frequently online using secure data and want piece of mind when you are entering your personal details, then this test is for you. You will need to have a personal computer with Windows XP or Vista installed as your primary operating system.
Remember, being a beta test volunteer means spending time daily engaged in testing and providing feedback in the Centercode system. If you are unwilling to commit to participate in the beta test, do not apply for this opportunity. This test is scheduled to start on or around September 4th and will last for two weeks.

It is State Fair time here and all the news stories are about foods on sticks and unusual things Deep Fried. The one about the Twinkies really caught my eye, go figure. My healthnut of a daughter is planning a reconnaissance mission some night to make the Fryer disappear. She is going to live to be 100+. I’m going to check out a little earlier having eaten things like this. Besides, how hard can this be to recreate at home? It was so easy. We just bought our first ever Deep Fryer a few months ago and have been tossing things in it ever since. I found a recipe on the Internet and also discovered a few secrets. Secret #1 is to freeze the Twinkies the night before. Secret #2 is put it on a stick. I did the first one but I didnt have any skewer sticks and figured no big deal. It would definitely have come in handy. Just make a simple batter and roll frozen Twinkie around in that. Heat oil to 375 and fry for 2 minutes. Granted the whole time they are bobbing about in the oil and you have to keep pushing them down and rolling them for even frying which is why the stick would have made things easier. Remove from oil and let cool for 5 minutes. That last step was the hardest, having to wait 5 minutes for it to cool! And then eat. OMG! This is sooooooooooo good. I tripped over a recipe for Deep Fried Oreo’s. Note to self: pick up cookies next time at store!
