If you are on disability, you should qualify for a prescription drug plan and not have to pay that much for your meds. If you call Medicare, they will help you find a rx plan that is right for you.
If you are not on SSDI, and do not qualify for a RX plan, you can contact drug manufactures and the majority of them have programs that allow you to get your meds for free. Go to the drug company’s website and look for paitient assistance. Most of them have forms you can download, printout, and mail to them.
Hope that helps you. I am on SSDI so I have some experience in this area.

Called these nice people and the most important question that must be asked is: If I have medicare part A and D, do I still qualify????
The answer to this question is more than likely NO!!!! Only because if you are getting some assistance from medicare in the way of co-pays you are most likly not to qualify!!!! :(
