‘Dem Crazy Laws

Hwere Here are just a few from my town:

  • In Chicago it is also illegal to take a French poodle to the opera, and for women over 200 pounds (90 kilos) to ride horses in shorts.
  • In Chicago, Illinois, it is illegal to fish in pajamas.
  • “Dwarf-tossing,” the strange practice of hurling dwarfs in padded suits, is outlawed in the bars of Springfield, Ill., because it’s dangerous and exploitative. The practice is apparently allowed elsewhere in town, with a special permit.
  • Chicago: Law forbids eating in a place that is on fire; It is illegal to give a dog whiskey; Kites may not be flown within the city limits; Spitting is forbidden

Haha…..I read the laws in Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina…FUNNY!!!!!!!
Even had a law in Sarasota…i lived there to in FL.
Even have one for Charleston, SC.

I saved this in bookmarks so I can read them all later i read tn, mississippi, florida, and tx and some other random ones i have heard some of these they are all crazy i was wondering when was the last time some of these were enforced CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY i know they still enforce a few of these in TN like the panhandling permit in downtown memphis they really do make you get one or you will go to jail if caught without it but how many really still exist? if anyone knows for sure what site i could see post it please

In Texas it is illegal to carry wire cutters in your back pocket. I guess it is to keep you from cutting a barbed-wire fence and stealing cows. But it says nothing about carrying them in your front pocket…OUCH, if you sit down!

we really are in desperate need to go over these ancient rules and update them, these reules are really stupid for the 2010.
