I am so overwhelmed with emotion! I am hoping the people there feel like I do now – looks like a lot of people needed this as much as I did. I hope this is viral, I want it to cause infection everywhere!

I think it hit me the way it did because I single handedly started something quite like this at the Rolling Rock Town Fair when they still held the concert in Latrobe, PA out on that giant farmground and everybody had to be bussed in from the main roads. I was in line at the beer garden during a break (and for some reason they had no music playing during that break)feelin pretty festive and came up with this idea to say to my friend –hey — lets pretend we’re listening to the most awesome song we’ve ever heard and start dancing, just do it with me and see what happens – you know, like looking up in a crowd of people – monkey see monkey do. Well it didn’t take more than 45 seconds for other people to start dancing too. Before long almost the whole beer garden was dancing and laughing for no apparent reason in the silence other than to live in the moment and enjoy eachother. I have never before and never since felt so powerful even though almost nobody but the people near me figured out what happened. Just goes to show that you are more impressive than you think. So don’t be afraid to be yourself – and smiles really are contagious. I hope somebody reading this was at that concert and leaves a comment.

Wonderful. There was so much spontenaity that the person who stood out was a blonde haired women who just walked off and didn’t smile or anything (near the middle of the tape). I bet those travellers continued smiling throughout the day.

Too bad this never happens in real life, and that it takes an ad executive to pull it off. . .http://jfsdaily.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_evil.gif

I am a firm believer that a smile or act of kindness can change everyone. Have you ever seen so many smiles in one place??!! Can you imagine what a happy world we would live in if this happened just once a month everywhere-anywhere?!!!
This was fabulous!!!!!
A big thanks to James & T-Mobile!!

stephanie said in March 24th, 2009 at 12:28 pm

Just wish I had received this wonderful commercial this morning. What fun these people were having, made me want to join in, even sitting at my desk, I got into the grove. What a shame we don’t have more fun things happening in our world, especially here in the USA, everyone is busy wanting, buying, and not being happy until they have everything. This is better than money can buy.
