So True :D

We had 4 channels (one was canada), black and white tv, no remotes so you had to turn the dial to change the channel. One phone in the house, maybe two (I can remember when my parents second one was wired), big heavy phones that never broke, when cable came out we thought that was awesome. No video games until the 80′s. No computers either. How the world has changed.

:D sure would be nice if everyone would remember how things were and really appreciate the things we have now…

I love this guy!!! If time travel were real, my kids would still never leave the ‘now’ because they couldnt survive 2 minutes without their cell phones!

It’s not amazing at all. Just sad.
And no one is happy because, well, where is the real life community.

Memories!!! The comedy was great along with the truth of the sadness of many lives lived in today’s soundbite world. No attention span, no patience, no community/family, and no happiness.
I am optimistic about the future because of faith only. ( ; )

Black and White TV with only four channels, no remote. Had a party line with a dial phone; heavy and only black. Today we have cell phones! Now we are being forced to have our televisions set up to digital technology by February 2009. How times have changed!!!!!!

You guys had FOUR channels? We had 2. When we finally got the 3rd one (we were SO excited!) it didn’t matter because the tv tower was so far away our rabbit ears wouldn’t pick it up. Oh woe. But I think I was happier then. Better than 500 channels and nothing to watch!

that was a great video. remember those days of 8 tracks, and then there was quadrophonic sound. Gee what happened!!!!

You guys had TV????? We had one radio. It stood in the dining room, and was three feet tall. Some of you had only one car. We didn’t have one!!

all true,i can remember in the late 40,s standing on my neighbors porch watching the 1st tv on the street.milton berle, jack benny.there were 15 minute tv shows.stiller and meara.we played outside,we fell down and got hurt, played kick the can, played 1/2 ball, there were only a few fat kids we had respect for older people&were afraid of the cops.we played dodge ball.never had seat belts or bike helmets.parents&kids today are bunch of wimps.

We see a lot of overweight kids today because they lay around playing video games, talking on their cell phones and watching lots of movies. No outdoor fun at all these days. We would play in the big snow drifts for hr’s and then come in to Mom’s home cooked hot meal. No microwave junk,no microwaves yet. We survived w/out all they have today and were happy w/ life as it was.
