Over the Sunday going to Church dress is probably the only time I saw my Mamaw (Grandma) without an apron. Oh, don’t forget the pockets. I think they were magic!

;;) I still use an apron and all the neighbor kids come up and ask what it is. I love them because I’m so messy and it saves on laundry!:D |:|

:=D I remember those good ole days myself. I do wear an apron on occasion.

Both of my grandmothers wore aprons. I really enjoyed this bit of information. Didn’t live on a farm, tho. My one grandma wore hers when she made potica(pronounced po-teet-sa). It’s a filled bread roll that comes from Yugoslavia. When she was baking it, she would have coffee, but not in a coffee cup. She would drink it from a small bowl. Funny how things come to mind when other thinkgs are remembered.
Thank you, it was fun. ~:)

That was really wonderful. I remembered things about my mom I have not thought about in years! It’s funny as we get older how much one little reminder of our past can make us cry! Thanks James I smiled too!!!

Oh to have the meals my aunt and my grandmother made with all the butter and trans fat etc… They both lived to their late 80′s so they must have done something right.:;
