I HATE when people lay on their horns in construction back ups—like that is going to make anyone move faster.
I HATE dirty dishes left in the sink.
I HATE when people are talking on their cell phone while they are in a store paying for there items at the register–like we want to hear how “Tommie” called his friend to barrow money, PUT the DANG PHONE DOWN and pay the lady then LEAVE…………..

I HATE when friends are late, when they say they will be there at noon, they should not arrive at one and feel it is ok(unless they are in construction- as long as they are not the one laying on the horn)
I Hate when my husband forgets our anniversary -been married 23 yrs, think he could remember by now HAHAHA

My peeve is forwarded e-mails that show all the addresses it’s been to and/or you have to open a bunch of windows to get to it.

I have to vent because I woke up yesterday morning to find every piece of clothing in my closet soaking wet, and I grabbed the chain to turn on the light so I could see what the heck was happening and the chain to the light switch was dripping water and I know water and electricity do not mix and I have to get a roofer and I am mad.

Sorry about the run on sentence, but I tend to do that when I am venting.

You do not drive the speed limit and the peeps who i have seen talking on there cells phones have caused caused or almost caused accidents.

My turn. I ended up here out of curiosity of the suject title; this is about the 10th time I’ve looked for the Take A Walk On The Wild Side vid & I cannot find it. I’m wondering if you took it off due to the song’s adult language. I love that vid! As I was reading & came to ms.minx’s the 1st couple lines or so were making sense… why sweat the small stuff, I’ve lost my parents, grandparents, 2 kids, a sib, nephew, bil, many friends etc & too many furkids, but I’m not throwing a pity party! Then I saw MikeP’s short reply to ms.m, Mike you summed it up very well & I agree! LOL (would put a big smiley here but they don’t seem to work for me)
Last Mon, on a roadtrip that should have taken 5-6 hrs turned into an over 2-day ordeal before my son & me were safely home. Had a blowout on the highway,(tread peeled off a tire w/less than 4,000 mi on it) & you would not believe how, in spite of many snags, everything worked out. My family members & loved ones in Heaven are our Guardian Angels watching over us. After we were finally limping on up the road w/a wornout 17yo donut tire, we had to stop for a wrecked semi on it’s side, I’m sure it had passed us. Had we not been stranded when we were, that semi could have landed on top of us, who knows. There’s a reason things happen.
And…This is, to me, more amusing than annoying; when I answer the phone & it’s someone I don’t know real well they always ask “is your mom or dad,[or an adult] there”, last week one even went on to ask was my babysitter available & it was during a school day, so I sound like a pre-schooler? Once I called the fire dept, our neighbors were asleep & an electric wire was burning a tree against their house. Had the scanner on & heard them say ’some kid just called….’ They didn’t show up so another adult in the house called them back. It was a close call that could have become tragic. These people can’t see me through a phone line, or know that I have to buy clothes & shoes in the children’s dept, I’m a *sigh* 46yo grandmother.
I’d like to continue w/o using the Hate word, #1.they don’t make many mature looking clothes in my size, & #2.I wish I had a clever comeback for those ph.calls: ‘is your mom or dad home?’Any suggestions?
I do have strong oppinions on serious issues concerning animal rights, (pls don’t confuse me with a peta person, giving pigs a few extra inches in cages is not acceptable) There are plenty of other places to discuss animal rights agendas, thanks James for the click to donate sites. The days I don’t find anything else I can use I always click for the animals.
