I LOVE SCRAPPLE!! Not many people know what it is & many of my friends think I’m crazy but it’s great! My family here in Va has always eaten it.

Dear god, that is nasty. It’s made from offal which is the head and other yucky things and whatever little bits left over.I’m skipping breakfast now, thanks, lol. This is a food that the old show”Fear factor”could’ve used.I don’t think you could pay me to try it,sorry, lol.

I used to eat scapple when I was a kid growing up in VA. The way I liked it best was cooked to extra crispy, then mixed up with scambled eggs. I haven’t had it in years and years, but I still recall it’s peppery smell and flavorful taste. I stick to a diet of fish and chicken these daZe, but still get cravings for stuff like this stuck in my memory bank.

Oh, and yes, maybe it is made of “scraps” but then, how many people eat hot dogs – ALL THE TIME, without a thought? One more thing about that too, to anyone who has not ever tried or tasted something, yet criticizes it or anyone who eats it, is really missing out on a whole lot of living in this world. Pity the fools!

I can’t eat hot dogs or bologna either. They are made from all sorts of stuff and after that old movie with Jon Candy and Dan Ackroyd where they take there families on a vacation and the raccoons get into there trash cans and find the hot dogs and make that comment about what they’re made of”lips and a-holes”(my fav line, lmao)it was something that i already knew.My dad was a hunter and we had some very different types of meat growing up,bear, elk, deer, squirrel and now meat is a big turnoff. But i think all people eat something someone else would find odd, myself included.I’ve never tried blood sausage either and i’m sure i’m not missing out on anything, lol.
