Just a couple of weeks before I ride one. Thanks for a great preview to the way it feels.

This makes me think of a shareware computer game called Audio Surf (I think you can try it 10 times for free, but normally it’s $10): http://audio-surf.com/

You upload one of your own songs (like an mp3 on your computer) and the game generates a “roller coaster” type road for you to fly a ship and collect blocks (positioned by melody of the song0 / avoid barriers). If you don’t want to play it as a game, there’s a viewing mode too.

Neat parts are being able to use your own music, not pre-selected game music, and it’s fun to try a bunch of different songs to find which one is the best “surf”. Slow parts and fast parts of songs are designated on the road according to color and upward/downward incline.

I saw videos on YouTube of the game in action:

(I should note that I am not affiliated with this game in any way…I just think it’s cool!)
